TopGrass is an independent company set up by two partners whose backgrounds combine experience in treating professional lawns and sportsturf with business expertise from working in quality-driven blue chip companies. All this enables TopGrass to provide you with the best service possible.

TopGrass ensures that all its technicians are trained to the highest standards. The training includes theory and practical sessions with Derek Walder, past President of the Institute of Groundmanship and Independent Turf Consultant.

TopGrass go to Wimbledon
Ian De Courcy and Tom Arnold of TopGrass were given a tour of Wimbledon by Eddie Seaward, Head Groundsman.
The work that goes into the preparation for the championship is enormous. They literally start preparing for the following year only a few weeks after each year’s championship has finished and then follow a strict program to ensure that the courts reach their best condition by the following June. As well a plenty of tips on lawn maintenance and renovation Ian and Tom saw and the building work that is ongoing in preparation for the 2012 Olympics.
Derek Walder braves the snow!
In two days that saw him snowed on, hailed on and rained on Derek Walder, past President of the Institute of Groundsmanship, toured TopGrass customers in Essex and Warwickshire.
After having thawed out Derek declared that he was "very impressed with the results that TopGrass was achieving for their clients."
