Professional products and equipment
TopGrass uses the same products and type of equipment which are used on famous golf courses and other sporting venues. These are designed for professional users and are not available in retail outlets. 
Fully qualified operators
All TopGrass technicians have undertaken the government training (NPTC qualification) to apply pesticides. TopGrass also has personnel qualified to advise on and recommend the correct use of pesticides (BASIS qualification).
Derek Walder
Trains and advises the staff of TopGrass
Derek Walder BEM has been in horticulture and groundmanship for the past 34 years. He is a past President of the Institute of Groundsmanship and also writes, lectures and broadcasts on all matters relating to turf care, including running lawn clinics for the BBC Gardeners World. Derek was awarded the British Empire Medal in 1991 for services to Groundsmanship.
